Very nice! Ik had uiteindelijk gekozen voor een matte print op ander materiaal. Goed te zien dat dit dus ook kan, staat op m’n lijstje!

Kijkhoek/reflectie van Aluminiumprints is heel goed. Zie hier een vergelijk tussen M31 op plexiglas (Hinderlijke reflectie onder elke kijkhoek) en M42 op Aluminium (Geen reflectie vanwege een mat oppervlak)M31-plexiM42-muur

Bevalt de kijkhoek ook? Ik had er destijds naar gekeken alleen uiteindelijk niet gekozen (heb ook geen sample in levene lijve gezien hoor) omdat ik dacht dat er teveel reflectie zou zijn die de kleuren geen recht zouden doen.

Inmiddels heb ik in het afgelopen jaar 3 opties (plexiglas, canvas en Aluminium) van foto.com getest en Aluminium heeft mijn voorkeur. Zojuist weer 2 platen binnengekregen, een 75×60 cm Orionnevel en een 60×60 cm Rosette.P1100718

Ik zou de “evaluate noise” uitvinken of de “weights” methode veranderen.(Zonder schermprint van de instellingen is het lastig verder te beoordelen) “The original algorithm can fail to converge for images with very low noise levels, or images degraded at the one-pixel scale such as RAW DSLR frames demosaiced with bilinear interpolation.” Zie ook…[Read more]

Super. Wel interessant te weten wat nu de factor is dat het de ene keer wel en de andere keer minder werkt, ik ga er zeker ook mee aan de slag als ik ooit weer data binnenhark (dit zal niet meer voor mijn NZ avontuur zijn).

Een dubbele Arcsinh stretch is in dit geval een wondermiddel waarmee binnen een paar seconden de zwaktste details uit de stack naar voren komen. (in dit geval, want het werkt lang niet altijd zo fraai)IC59-IC63-Gamma-Cas-100x15min-Ha-crop–DBE-crop-arcsinh

Ik heb eindelijk antwoord van Scopedome over de setting voor de dome-rotatie die de nauwkeurigheid bepaald.
Die staat op de eerste configuratiepagine, die van de Card.
Het is de Dome “Position Compare Precision” setting. Die staat normaal op 5 clicks.
Dat komt overeen met een paar milimeter dome-omtrek.
