Atik zegt in de aankondiging: “CCDs are still the optimum technology for long exposure astrophotography. However, with 3.8µm pixels, this camera’s going to be a great match for shorter focal lengths and short exposure imaging.” Ik zie geen waarde voor full well depth in de specificatie staan, dat is wel van belang om te weten. De prachtig lage read noise van 0.6 e- is bij +30 Db gain, is dat een gain die praktisch toegepast gaat worden? Mijn “ouderwetse” CCD camera heeft een read noise van >10 e- en dat is niet iets waar ik nu echt iets van merk.
