Did this error occur during “Analyse Stars”? Reason for asking, of course I couldn’t help myself in trying to align some moon images :-), APP kept throwing this error message. So I can imagine that the “Analyse Stars” proces couldn’t find enough stars?
It happened when I was paging through the available images in the image list…

Hi Rob, can you tell me on which version of APP this happened? If it happens again with a certain image, let me have a look at the image ?
I know of one bug that is on my list, which can cause this, a saturation stretch on 8bit data? Could that be the case?
If you can replicate this problem, that would be most helpfull.
@mth75, registration in APP is done on stars, you can’t register moon or planet images (yet…) I’ll have to work on the error reporting in that case.This was when I still used the 1.033.1 version. I’m not sure how to recreate the error.
In the meanwhile I have updated to the 1.033.3 version.
