I have scanned the 16 panel, but I am having a hard time to find the 2 error zone you mention.
If you tried this in Registar, would you have to register panel by panel to get the 16 panels stitched together?
Also good to know, what kind of optics were used and what focal length was used?
Is there data from different camera’s and OTA’s ?

helemaal waar ik dacht dat het ook aan de secondes lag echter zijn de seconden instellingen van beeldverversing.
maar het is idd overbelichting. er was nog een klein gaatje over en dat is schijnbaar genoeg.
nou 2 uur gezocht en binnen een paar seconden opgelost… dank jullie.

First thing we need to know…
Do you remember how you registered the individual panels in Pixinsight?
If you used any form of thin plate splines, chances are, PI has done more damage to your data than good. So we need to know this before anything else.

Zo te zien (aan de screenshot), heb je wel degelijk verbinding, en een volledig overbelicht image (2s). Zet de belichting tijd eens op een veel kortere tijd, microseconden.

Stomme vraag, maar heb je de guider niet open liggen terwijl het vrij licht is?

Zojuist m’n guider binnen gekregen
een Orion starshoot autoguider, geïnstaleerd op de manier waarop dit hoort.
echter krijg ik wit beeld te zien terwijl de camera naast de pc ligt om te proberen.nu moet ik de software als eerst installeren dan de drivers en dan de cam insteken… vervolgens zou windows een venster openen met hardware wizard……[Read more]

Hi Tom, you can use the big blue photo button for uploading images (attachment (no Photos)) won’t preview images.

Here is an initial 16 pane mosaic. I used files created in Pixinsight. This time I used ones that I had performed the DBE on, so the gradients were removed, but kept the files in Linear mode.
The joining looks really good, except for two areas where the stars are streaked. 2 images attached to test.
I m going to try a 6×6 full frame stitch later.

I have uploaded new versions 1.034.2 , can you please try another similar stack, to check if the speed has improved now?
I have fixed some problems, and I think memory management is now much better. APP shouldn’t slow down anymore like you mentioned.

I will run some big stacks on my Windows, MacOS machines and virtual Linux these days. All parts that take considerable time will be under scrutiny from me to speed them up ;-)

Try the newest version, should be quite a bit faster. It is on my computers. (is ready for download now)
I had some problems with memory management, I hope I have solved it now. Also implemented several optimizations and fixed some memory leaks.
Let me know how this one works ;-)

Als nieuwe member direct een fotootje posten die ik laatst opgenomen had vanuit mijn achtertuin.
Rood : 23 x 300sec
Groen : 33 x 300sec
Blauw : 30 x 300sec
Atik 460ex mono met Newton 250/1200 F5 op een EQ8 en gevolgd met PHD2. Vaste stek in sterrenwacht Procyon te Tremelo.

PS. nu kan het wel zijn dat ik slechts 8GB vrij laat, omdat tegelijk Windows nog liep welke ik ook 8GB toeken.
