Hoi Mabula,
groet,

Excellent @musquetier,
setting everything up for S3 in AWS was very well explained as well. Great service and system by Amazon ;-)

I use Amazon AWS for years now to host my world wide used websites. Very fast, very reliable!

Thank you Marc, Amazon S3 should be very reliable I understand ;-) for lots of traffic.
Please let me know if anyone encounters a time-out or slow download from now on ;-)

Nice Hans,
Did you use remove light pollution, calibrate background and calibrate star color? The last step, currently will make the ratio of red and blue stars equal, but white stars become greenish. I think I can see this in your image? There is a bit of Green cast to the globular cluster. You can easily correct this with the selective color…[Read more]

Indeed, time-outs and slow downloads occurred prior to this change. Seems to be ok now.

Hi all,
I noticed several times that downloading the installers could be slow and could time-out. I didn’t hear from any of you that there were problems, but I suspect there were some?
I have now placed all installers on Amazon S3 for external reliable and fast storage, downloads are protected and the download URLs will only works for a couple…[Read more]

The cluster M3 in Canes Venatice.
This cluster is approximately 34,000 light years away and has a diameter of about 178 light years.

The pictures are processed in APP and DPP van Canon.M3 27-5-2017 137x30sec…[Read more]

Theunissen replied to the topic NGC7000 LRGB processing met PSCC in the forum Deepsky 9 years, 1 month ago
