Dit is alleen maar een MaskedStretch (ben ik aan het leren te gebruiken) en daarna toch nog een HistogramTransformation en ACDNR om de ruis wat te reduceren maar verder niks. Mooi, het detail in het stelsel is al erg goed! Gebruik je ook masks en doe je aan kleur-saturatie? Lijkt mij dat je de kleuren nog iets kan opkrikken.

Messier 63 opgenomen tijdens een goede nacht (eindelijk) met de juiste gain setting met de 130/910mm APO en 0,8x reducer, Baader filters en ZWO ASI1600mm – Cool. Eindelijk liep alles, door de goede condities eens de gehele nacht door!

Oh yes the FOV is exactly the same and I’m dithering a couple of pixels. Good suggestion to do this more aggressively, it might in some spots even help reducing the coma just a tiny bit if the shift is large enough.

Probably, this is an error in the complex model regression, where the regression keeps iterating and so seems to be stuck… My guess would be that between your subs you have very little difference in Field Of View? So I made 11x 15 min H-Alpha subs last night, I have some 15 min darks and a BPM. Flats I didn’t make yet. I wanted to do a “quick” stack to see how it looks like. Ja, een kleine voor-stretch is wat ik weleens gelezen heb. Waar het mij bij MaskedStretch om gaat is dat de kleur zo goed mogelijk behouden wordt, met “niet zo mooi” bedoel je dan een resultaat tussen Masked- en gewone stretch in? Misschien moet ik dat sowieso eens proberen.

I found the problem, the calibration files were not yet created (maybe registering should be prevented when no calibration files were created). After creating the calibrated files registering still failed but after doing another star analyses action registering worked as intended…

Ik heb er ook last van. Repaired HSV Seperation werkt bij mij niet. Een soort van workaround wat bij mij wel redelijk werkt is:
Overnemen STF met backgroundvalue op 0.02;
Masked Stretch met backgroundvalue 0.125;
Een kleine stretch (of meerdere).
Met stap 1 voorkom je dat er roze ster kernen optreden. Het eindresultaat is niet zo mooi…[Read more] -

PS. om even op de eerdere vraag van Kees terug te komen: ik heb een SQM meter aangeschaf en de SQM waarde in Limmen (NH) lijkt uit te bodemen op circa 19.60 mags/arcsec^2.

Nu ik wel een waarde anders dan nul heb in kunnen stellen voor mijn GAIN zie ik hem wel terug in mijn FIT’s header. Als de waarde nul is wordt hij kennelijk niet opgenomen in de FIT’s header…

Hm, dat was inderdaad een breinbreker! Ik kan alleen maar zeggen dat ik 10 opnamen heb, gevolgd op de asteroïde en ik heb ze nu eerst nog eens volgens verschillende methoden samengevoegd, zowel in MaximDL als in ImagesPlus en ik kwam steeds een gelijkaardig resultaat uit!? Meeeeen, wat zou ik graag zo’n dome hebben zeg. Er zijn overigens mooie films gemaakt met alleen een iPhone, de truc was dan om de 20.000 Euro kostende lens- en stabiliteits-setup erbij te hebben. :)
Mijn tuin is bijna te klein om iets rondom de boel te bouwen en wind tegen te houden, ik denk aan een grote box, maar dan nog moet die hoger zijn…[Read more]

Knappe opname(n) ! Ik kan alleen geen chocola maken van de stersporen in de asteroide gevolgde opname. Het zijn 10×60 seconden en ik zie 8 streep-stersporen, maar ook 2 streep-stersporen? EDIT: er is een pauze tussen de 8 en de laatste 2 sporen…….
