De nova is ook zichtbaar op de foto.

Een combinatie van oud en nieuw. Jupiter met mijn 40 jaar oude (lady) de Polarex 75/1200 in combinatie met een 2,5 x Powermate van Teleview.

Ok, i will use an external monitor on the Toughbook for now. Although i still find it strange that as you can see in my original post, i can move the APP screen up on the desktop but i still can not see the bottom window. In that situation i should be able to work with APP in minimal screensize.

@keesscherer, sorry but it is, it’s the minimum resolution of APP. It’s hard coded in the application at the moment so it’s pretty hard to be dishonest about this. See the screenshot.
The bottom file window probably doesn’t show because your OS can’t let APP work on a height of 768, due to reserved space for a OS task bar, or something else. I…[Read more]

APP has a fixed minimum size in display resolution of 1280 x768
That can not be true because i can not see the bottom file window on 1366×768………..

Klopt, ik vind het persoonlijk best mooi, met name om het later af te drukken. Ik ben het helemaal eens met het feit dat je daarmee erg zwakke zaken vermindert, maar daar probeer ik wel goed op te letten. Ik gebruik masks tot en met om zoveel mogelijk alleen de achtergrond te grazen te nemen, ik denk dat de erg zwakke stelsels zoals 1 naast M81…[Read more]

@supernov , misschien even ter verduidelijking. APP stretcht niks hoor aan je stack (doet alles lineair), je krijgt alleen een gestretchte preview. Het doel van een preview is , in mijn optiek, juist om een goed inzicht te krijgen in je data. De preview stretch is allerminst bedoeld om te dienen als de perfecte stretch van je data. Kees, de voorbeelden komen er nog aan hoor, maar een probleem vormt het eigenlijk niet meer, lag meer aan hoe ik de stretch bekeek (extreem).

As far as IP using the bias for dark scaling – I believe the methodology is to subtract the bias from the dark so that only the dark signal is left. Then the dark can be scaled.
